Week #2 of Orlando.
Wow. I am so blessed. The feeling of getting closer to God, experiencing things that are a once in a lifetime thing and being with these people are all I could ever ask for. The pictures I’m sharing only reflect part of what we have been doing. This part of my trip is the adventure part. We have gone to the Orlando City Pro soccer game (and won), we went to Icon Park to ride a 450 foot swing ride and the tallest ferris wheel I’ve ever seen, we celebrated Bailee’s birthday and so much more!
But there’s part of this journey that the pictures don’t even show the extent of what we’ve been doing. They don’t show the part where I cried in a Starbucks parking lot because I got to share the gospel with a girl waiting in line. They don’t show the feeling I got at church on Sunday when the presence of the Holy Spirit put my whole body at peace. And they don’t show one of the best experiences I’ve ever had praying for two young kids. We saw a girl that was alone at the park. We asked if she was ok and she said she was. We prayed that she had peace and was safe. An hour or two later, we were about to leave the park and we saw her again, this time with her older brother. They were selling Skittles to help their mom and pay for a hotel room. We were able to help them out, pray for them and tell them about the gospel. I was awestruck at God’s amazing plan for each of us.
So yes, I’m having fun. I’m seeing the sights and doing the things. But I’ve also grown more in my relationship with Jesus that I ever have before. I hope you are reading this and feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. I pray that you have peace over your mind, body, spirit and soul.
“You can’t change Gods plan for someone”
So don’t be afraid to reach out. Don’t be scared to live out your faith. Because in the end, Jesus wins. I just happen to be on the winning team.
I pray that anyone reading this will message me with any thoughts or questions they have. I would love to share all about the thing that brought me out of a deep deep depression to two of the best two weeks of my life. You are so so loved ❤️
Prayer Requests:
-Good health and strong minds for the team.
-Patience for the team as we figure out the little details of how we all work together best.
-That we will feel rested and ready.
-We will lean on each other and Jesus when we are struggling or homesick.
-We are strong, confident and ready when we have the opportunity to share your word and love to others
-Relief from my chronic headaches and migraines and problems with my injured finger.
Thank you all. I would love to pray for you as well. Feel free to message me through my blog or any other form of communication you have me on. Love you all!
